I protest, i speak out, i post on social media , i try to engage the people around me and a have few people have had their eyes opened. Mostly I am met with overwhelming apathy. It's been hard to keep going but the alternative is unbearable.
Canadians are so complacent in their little bubble of ignorance and they work hard to maintain that.
The smartest thing i have ever done was stop listening to CBC 20 years ago. It can be very disheartening when well intentioned people turn to CBC for 'alternative' news and don't seem to get that it is part of the same propaganda machine.
Alternative news is still available and if you are determined enough you can share that news despite our governments best efforts.

He's spent years writing about Palestine and Israel, including reporting live from the ground in both regions, as have some of his correspondents, and has detailed, at great length, the atrocities and inhumanity of the Zionist project, among many other imperialist projects the mainstream media tries to shove on us.
Agree! I hve followed thegrayzone for some time. I also watch and read chris hedges who although not a marxist is certainly a voice with great credibility when it comes to Palestine
Al Jazeera is very good on Gaza. They have had a number of their journalists killed there. Some of them deliberately targeted by the Israeli army.
A sad contrast to the pathetic CBC.
